I Dusted of my akai mpd16 and the pressure sensitivity is great.
I cant get it to work with poly pressure though, seems to be some kind of take over problem. Anybody have any ideas on how to solve this?

Stick with live.
Once the students have an understanding of arrangement view, they can use that knowledge in other production DAW´s. Not so easy the other way around.

How about ..mm
resample from arrangement, then drop the relevant clips in session view.
Unwarp the clips and use follow actions.
That might work.

yes xp on a bootcamped macbook runs really well. +20 tracks, lots of effects etc. Zero probs. Just make sure your windows partition is big enough, default from bootcamp is 32 gb and that is imo not enough .
