There are still copies of NI's Komplete Synths floating around for $199 on the shelves at some big chain retailers - that's full versions of Massive, FM8, Absynth and Pro-53. I found a $300 bundle of Massive, FM8, Absynth, and Pro -53 on musiciansfriend.com Yup. That's the regular sale price. There...

Are you on Mac or Windows? That is with the setup listed in my sig. I'm not sure how much the quadcore necessarily helps with the ToneDirect Monitoring as system reported usage is 4% at the smallest buffer size and 3% at the largest ToneDirect buffer setting. Certainly, it helps to have horsepower ...

Latency under ToneDirect Monitoring is negligible at the 'extra small' buffer setting - not noticeable, no issues. [Driver v3.4.2.9] Garden variety monitoring through Live's output: 44.1kHz 256samples - > 24.1ms, CPU@80% no drop outs 96.0kHz 256samples - > 15.2ms, CPU@65% before drop outs 44.1kHz 12...

The UX2 is brilliant. If that is enough I/O then look no further.

Also, installed Pod Farm last night (free upgrade as I had GearBox). No hassles upgrading an older UX2 (red not black) to current spec.

Encoding and then decoding should cancel in a perfect world. However, 'Utility' has a few properties that will make this difficult to achieve in practice. Namely, how it preserves the levels of each side (or in fact overall) depending on the technique you decide to use. Here is a quick example that ...

Just noticed the demo is now available for PC. A painfully slow 200MB, so plan your evening accordingly: http://www.linplug.com/Download/download.htm

You'll need an activation code as well.

...

Sheesh... Still waiting on the download. Back to the Henke mastering article.

Ableton will have long ago been integrated into the corporate superstructure that is Matsumura Fishworks & Tamaribuchi Heavy Manufacturing Concern. They will be responsible for the design of a GUI for moisture vaporators so easy a binary loadlifter can utilize it. The future is bright.

Thanks Nebulae. I think Quad is out of the question. I will have to settle for Dual core from a cost p.o.v. The 500Gb HD's seem like the sweet spot right now for price, But I think they are SATA2.Hmmm. Why 4gig Ram when XP can only see 2gig? I know there is some sort of switch thingy that gets talk...
