the scientist is dead on. half the fun i have with live is destroying sounds with time stretching. it would be a crying shame if that algorythm went the way of the dodo. if you do inprove it ableton, heed the scientist and keep the old option available.

berlin rules.

Re: amen and refrain

It probably because you are performing this audio as an 'instrument', and so you are thinking about it purely during that ti...

clip veiw parameters controlled via midi

this may very well have been covered already, but dammit, i'm just too lazy to go searching the forums. so i clutter your boards with my posts. i think, and can i get an amen on this, that midi control over the clip veiw buttons would be sick. i've been able to get seriously funky by messing with th...

file naming conventions/file renaming

anyone come up with a decent way of naming audio files to keep track of key, length, bpm, style, ect.? i've had no luck myself. just end up with long complicated lines of gibberish. hints? tips? tricks? johns? and, if and when someone blesses me with an ingenious way of organizing myself, anyone kno...

i've been using pluggo with live, and albeit some don't work, most do, and those that do...damn. they can seriously mangle the bejesus out of your sound. i love these plugs. for the price and what you can do with it, pluggo is mega-ultra well worth it. go download the demo at www.cycling74.com and s...
