You're right. It runs like a champ when I slave it to a hardware midi sync... I was hoping to lose the extra cable tho... Not only that, it seems Live's audio degrades when it is running as a midi slave (at least w/ complex warping, haven't tested with anything else). Hopefully Korg can get back to ...

KP3 midi sync

Any KP3 users around here?

Have any of you had any luck syncing MIDI Clock from Live to the KP3 via USB?

Having some trouble - seems as though there is a slight 'drift' coming from Live maybe?

TIA - joesapo :D

Create a blank template and upload it to one of the template spaces. On the SL, select the blank template, and hit the 'write' button. There should be an option on the screen like 'to template #'. This is where you want to save the blank template. Just do that for every template space and you're in ...

After selling my X-Station 49, I am left with only one hardware synth... my EMU XL-7 command station. (Basically an EMU Proteus 2000 synth w/ fancy controllers and a sequencer)

But it's been sitting in my closet for a while now. VSTs baby.

RAID does not always equal better performance. The only RAID array that will increase your performance is also the type that offers zero redundancy, which is RAID0 (striping). RAID1 (mirroring) will decrease your performance over 1 drive. RAID5 (striping with redundancy) will be faster than RAID1, ...

Then get an Evolution UC33e,it does the job well. not trying to steer too offtopic, but I'm finding myself le...

Are you talking about Complex warping, or w/ MIDI clock slaving?

Live audio quality degrades when MIDI clock slave

Has anybody else noticed this? I've got tracks warped in complex mode. If I let Live run on it's own they sound great, but when I have Live slaved to a MIDI clock tempo, they seem to lose something... I guess I could understand how this happens, but I was wondering if anybody else has noticed this, ...
