Re: multiple simpler rack for push

yes, I was just looking at it as a quick way to try samples against each other. drag 2 different audio files in, get some quick slices by transients, and bang away on pads. If you like the results then some fine tuning of slices and maybe moving audio to different tracks at that point.

Re: Push 2 Pads and First Impressions

My pads are breaking in nicely. I do have that weird aftertouch spike though, hopefully its fixed like they say. I love the recessed buttons EXCEPT the tap tempo, because it is righ underneath the tempo knob its tuff to tap. I used to tap the old one like hitting a drum on a pad when I was playing l...

Re: Push 2 Pads and First Impressions

The only thing I did not immediately like was the pads. Love everything else! I like the recess buttons better, aluminum finish better too. I had push one as soon as they were out, so im hoping its just me being used to playing the old one for so long. I actually perfered how they were raised, remin...

Re: Push 2 wood sides.

lol heyyy what a bunch of trolls> I own the shop??? I've been a member here for about 10 years, you can tell I am just an Ableton user by looking at my posts. The reason I don't give him mine is because i'm in the US and even though I do want one and would pay, I don't want one enough to ship mine (...

Push 2 wood sides.

I really like this look and I see it all the time for machine and mpc, but was never able to find it for my push. If you are in the UK or close, I found a shop who would like to do it but they need a physical unit to make the patterns to. If you let them measure your push 2, either in person or by ...

multiple simpler rack for push

I downloaded the new 9.5 update, and watched all the simpler videos. I have push1 now but am waiting on 2 any day now, so for this topic I was using push1. I dropped a 30 sec or so sample on a simpler and turned on slice. I slid the sensitivity up and down and watched it populate the yellow squares ...

midi plug ins

can't figure out how to do this. maybe someone can help? I want a midi effect that will only play incoming notes in a range regardless of what octave they come in at. IE: set the range from c1-c2, so if i play c-2 c-1 c0 or c1 I get c1. If I play c2 c3 c4 c5 c6 ect I get c2 i want to be able to adju...

Re: no session velocity?

would actually recommend pxt live plus for every push owner, but that doesn't change the fact that its on evey clip cell (velocity) and push is vel sensitive. Not allowing this should have a warning statement on the box

Re: new skin!

it wasn't bad at all. reapplied it 3 times in a row to get it just right. As long as you are gentle the ares between the grid won't warp and will allow you to work with it.

Re: new skin!

it has a different feel than the black rubber now. dust cleans off easier. Its not a thin vinyl. pretty durable.

Re: Push Cover / Stand

Looks nice. However I think the reason why ableton never shipped they're stand/cover is because they found in broke the slot on the unit from excessive use. Also $75 is a lot of money for what it is.
