hi, i got one really recently, so i haven't done much of my own prgramming with it yet, but i'm trying to build some pd patches to interface with Live (the thing about buying a 40h is that there's never going to be any money left over for a max/msp lisence) machinate's right - that video on the webs...

this is excellent... for the princely sum of 3 pounds. thanks guys. no idea what i'm going to do with it though.

i love the way racks make Live into almost a new program: it looks the same on the outside but it makes you work in a whole new way. which is why i bought Live in the first place.

hi i just got live 6. does anyone know why i can't seem to send a return track to itself any more? as far as i know, i haven't changed any preferences that would affect this since upgrading, and i always used to be able to do this in live 5. now the send knobs on the return tracks are kind of "...

fender all the way. mostly using a fender mustang at the moment. sounds like ass but i like it because it's weighs almost nothing - i had a les paul for a bit but it was just too damn heavy. my telecaster's falling apart... i really like my vox tonelab for those fender amp almost-clean tones. i thou...

does anyone know how to make a screengrab of live so that i can post if on the forum? what utility should i use? (on a mac)

i'm sure i've seen this answered on here before. i tried the search, but no luck.

don't know if anyone's bothered, but I just finished the sound on sound review, and they loved it. especially dynamic tube...
