And if you upgrade from Suite 8 to Live 9, you keep your Suite instruments. You just don't get the new content in Suite 9.

Re: Poll : rate Live 9 . Vote now!
Based on what we know so far, I can't give it more than 2 stars. I was expecting a lot more from 9. This feels more like an 8.7 upgrade to me. The new features seem nice, but there is nothing there that I couldn't live without, personally. Session automation probably being the most useful, but again...

Perhaps these are now hidden in a context menu. There has to be support for legacy sets, at least I would hope so.

Re: Session automation vs Clip evelopes
I was just about to ask this same question. Thinking logically, surely clip modulation envelopes would have to be retained for back-compatibility with sets made in previous versions. So hopefully, they are still there and not hidden too much in 9.

Re: Post your Live 9 upgrade path and price
When I contacted support earlier this year, they told me that I would be able to 'upgrade' from Suite 8 to Live 9 standard and retain all of my Suite 8 extras.Scotty Danger wrote:Is this confirmed?dj_blueprint wrote:What's wack is that if I upgrade to Live 9, all the instruments I paid for in Suite 8 won't come with me.

Re: why is 'Map to all siblings' a hidden function?
Thanks for pointing this out. I'd have missed it otherwise. Frustratingly, I could have really used this functionality a few years ago when I was using a lot of macro mapping (I started a thread about it) - not so much these days, but still very good to have it. I'd also like to know why this featur...

Select multiple cells in drum racks
It would be useful to be able to select more than one cell in a drum rack, with altered parameters on devices within being replicated on selected siblings. I know there is 'copy value to siblings' but of course this affects all cells, and that's not always appropriate. Perhaps a 'copy value to selec...

Yes, I do this with a Wacom tablet and a trackball. Both work fine together.

Re: How much time do you spend producing music?
2-3 hours a day actually producing it, but 2/3 times that thinking and planning. I'd like to spend more time working, but ear and arm fatigue (RSI) become a problem.

Re: nanopad help pls pls pls :(
I had a similar problem with my Nanopad. It seems that over time the pads become 'stuck'. I tried fixing mine but in the end just sliced off the pads and turned it into a stand-alone USB XY controller. http://www.gearslutz.com/board/electronic-music-instruments-electronic-music-production/485563-kor...

Re: Akai LPK25 keeps stopping working
Well, the cable wasn't the answer for me because the problem reappeared shortly afterwards. However, although I hesitate to speak too soon, I think I may have solved the problem (at least in my case ). I decided to take the thing apart and have a look inside to see if there were any obvious problems...
