I'd say try for an ultralight, and get the fastest 64 bit dual core you can afford (with the most ram). maybe check out the new dell ultralight - it gives you solid state storage as well. Thanks a lot for the info! I will go for the Vaio TZ series, the fastest Latitude D430, or for the XPSTM M1330....

Hi all, I'm going to buy another laptop soon (cause my Vaio Tx5 with 2gb ram (singe core though :-() cant handle the cpu pressure). Do any of you have some eperience with the performance of latest Athlon cpu's vs the new Intel Core 2 duo cores? And can someone tell me if the 64 bit version of Ableto...
