Re: Push 3 can't find the new 11.3.10 update
Join the Ableton Beta Users Group. After that the Push 3 will update to 1.3.10. Don't ask me why, but it works. https://www.ableton.com/en/beta/ I've been on center code for a few years now. I've "went to their site" but that doesn't do anything to my Push 3 automagically. I'm wondering i...

Why wouldn't you post the answer here?chapelier fou wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 2:14 pmHow am I supposed to update Push ?
It says it's up to date but runs 1.1.2.
Edit, found out in the beta forums.

Re: Sustain pedal not working? Push 3
This reminds me of a time when I was troubleshooting a network problem at a remote distribution center. A whole rack of equipment wouldn't power on, so I was trying to troubleshoot it with some random person on the other end. So I asked her if she had anything she could plugin to the power outlet. S...

Re: Push 3 Standalone owners: Happy?
Well in the second 30 minutes of ownership the volume button failed on mine so I’m not as happy as I was during the first 30 minutes of ownership 😆. I laugh because the alternative is tears. I’ll not mention that the touch strip failed on my Push 2 a month ago and that the replacement’s touch strip...

Re: Push 3 Standalone owners: Happy?
I am super happy with my standalone. I can boot it up anywhere and get solid ideas done. I throw it in my laptop bag and take it with me downtown, sit in my usual spot at my regular coffee shop and get after it. I really like it for just creating ideas, not finishing out everything. I think people e...

Re: Push 3 ADAT I/O recommendations?
Mostly happy with the SP8 and PS3 workflow, although run into some clocking issues when trying to do some “advanced” things , like setting SP8 as the source clock vs the PS3 and switching sample rates while also connecting one of the ADAT outputs from PS3 to my Apollo Twin X. A factory reset of SP8...

Re: Intel is shutting down NUC
I am so thankful for all of you worrying about this so I don't have to. Such a relief. Good luck out there. Keep making a difference because those Ableton guys would not be able to figure this out without you. I am confident you will change the course of the Push 3 forever with your concern! <pray h...

Re: Intel is shutting down NUC
If Ableton wants to use a different CPU, they just send you a different enclosure. CPU's fit into a socket, and that socket is a standard. The current chip fits into a FCBGA1449 socket. With that same socket, you can put all sorts of CPU's into that socket, up to a i7-1195G7. NUC has nothing at all...

Re: Intel is shutting down NUC
It’d still be an Intel chip. It’s just the gubbins around it that would be third-party and as said previously, there are already plenty of established manufacturers. There are not, this is wrong. Intel is the only mfr of Compute Elements. Intel is moving out of the business of creating Compute Elem...

Re: Intel is shutting down NUC
Right, but the carrier board that houses that "stuff" is a standard. And it's a published standard. Any manufacturer can build to that specification. For example: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/intel-nuc/NUC_Compute_Element_Carrier_Board_Design_Overview.pdf No, ...

Re: Intel is shutting down NUC
I like how people on this forum are like it's not a big deal. As if ableton is gonna find somebody to just start producing Intel clone cpus for them at scale. Clones. Not real Intel cpu. People on here act like the enclosure will accept any cpu. Or that producing cpus at scale it easy. Next the new...

...but also a housing around the CPU that has also been manufactured by Intel ... How do you know that is manufactured by Intel? No, for sure, I don’t! Only an assumption. I thought that’s what the form factor was that led on to them doing the mini-PCs. My guess is it’s that bit (and definitely the...
