In the Clip/Warp Mode preference defaults option, does anyone know what the difference is between Beats, Tone, Texture and Re-Pitch? I don't see any mention of these options in the HTML manual that came with my Live 2.0.1 download.

That's strange, because I use an Edirol UA-5 with my Mac running OS 10.2.2 and it works great without any excessive CPU usage. There's not much to setup in the preferences for audio other than choosing Core Audio and the Edirol UA-5 as the input and output device.

Does anyone know what the new "Redux" effect in Live 2.0 does? Some type of delay maybe?

The cheapest Powerbook G4 800Mhz goes for $3199 from the Apple Store. That's a fantastic deal, but I'd be suspicious of where it came from, since that's less than half the price of a new one.
