mediocre perfomance
Well at the Apple Store yesterday, I downloaded the Live 3.0 demo and installed it on a new iBook G4 800 w/ 256 RAM running Panther. Really dissapointing results: The clip called "Mellow" on the demo session was pegging the CPU meter at 46%. Compare this to my 2-1/2 year old iBook 500MHz, ...

Any iBook G4 users yet?
I´m wondering whether there are any users running Live on the new iBook G4?
Please share your impressions and CPU readings.
Thanks,
Avi

maybe groove templates
Yes, very much agreed. A set of warp templates and user-defined warp settings would be SO SO helpful. A lot of times I need to swing grooves that aren't swung (or unswing swung grooves) and it would be so helpful to have an easy way to do this, rather than go in and move individual warp markers. Avi

automate solo button
It would be nice if, when recording an arrangement, solo button on/off moves would be remembered for later playback.
I was suprised that you can't do this already, since just about every other parameter seems to be automateable.

agreed
Yes, this would be a good feature.
Also, it would be nice if the track on and solo buttons were quantizeable.

Could you email me the beta version you have?
I've sent the guy who codes ASIO2KS an email saying I wanted to try the beta version, but so far no response, and I'm anxious to try it.

Thanks,
Avi

Anyone using ASIO2KS?
Hi.
Is anyone here using ASIO2KS (http://www.asio2ks.de/) with their PC?
Does it work well, even though it's still in beta?
