That's what I do . . . I move files between the two **all the time**. I have lots of 3rd party plugs, too, so I've gone with stuff from smartelectronix, etc., that's cross-platform. I often perform with the PC running Live and the Mac running video or another audio app (like Logic). And incidentally...

Wait, Reason works both in ReWire slave and client mode. Since Live does too, this could be a real match made in heaven -- Reason for mastering, Live for live performance! Rock on! All the complaints about Reason get resolved when you use Reason as an instrument in Live, and that has more appeal to ...

I have to raise a red flag here again -- there is no practical way to compare Logic to Live. Absolute apples to oranges; the DSP processes are entirely different. WAY too many variables.
