Thanks I will try that.
However the Audio file name does not change when you rename the track if I'm not wrong.
Kind Regards
Pasha

Search Track name in the Browser
I need to find out the project that contains a track named "Sax". I have a big number of Projects including abandoned ones... so going through all of them will need ages.. By entering "Sax" in the browser I got no results. I have also tried with a known project that contains 'Sup...

Re: Help Looper vith MIDI
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. So far what I know about MIDI Commander is that it sends out CC or PC not notes.
But I can try to simulate the behavior via QWERTY then see if can mimic notes from CC/PC via translation.
Thanks so far!
I'll try and let you know.

Help Looper vith MIDI
11.2.7 here.
I have successfully mapped Meloaudio MIDI Commander with Ableton Looper in a track.
However I am allowed to map the reverse button only once and MIDI Commander sends only CC 127.
In the mapping Min is 0 and Max is 127.
How can I toggle Reverse on/off?
Thanks
Pasha

Re: Tempo Follower Question
You need to set your time sig first. I know, I know... in my delusional thinking... I really hoped differently. However do not take it as criticism, I am a loyal Ableton user since Version 4. :D Everyday we read about AI and all the 'goodies' it will bring but it will have an hard time decoding wha...

Re: Tempo Follower Question
Tested and it works at some point. Surely an improvement. However it cannot detect the tempo signature, only BPM. I have to find out a better way for odd signatures. In any case : THANKS!

Re: Tempo Follower Question
Do your tests  Depending on what your playing it can work from great to not good with guitars. Here's a little trick, as you're probably able (or you might even be doing it unconsciously for ever) to tap the tempo with your feet while playing the guitar: put a mic/contact mic on the floor and...

Tempo Follower Question
Lately I have found that it's harder to compose music while using Ableton Live. The main issue is that I am not able to dial a proper BPM so when inspiration hits I loose the moment in technical issues and if I record anyway all clips are not aligned with tempo afterwards. (I know we have warp but I...

Re: Poll about Live 11.2. What's your experience ?
11.2 on Mac OS 10.14.6 (Mojave) after upgrade it won't start. It goes after the splash screen, show tracks and then spinning circle... it forced me to go back to 11.1.6. I also tried reinstall Live 11.2 from the downloaded full package (Universal Version). Live Suite - iMac 2013. How I report this t...

Electric - a New Album made with Ableton Live
I have just released a new album on Alonetone. :) This album has been played, recorded, mastered by me between 2021 and 2022. 11 tracks built from scratch following a new idea of simplicity and immediate feelings. I hope I was able to communicate that. I was feeling Electric and with a good mood. As...

M1 with 128 samples here and sweet spot confirmed. 8GB RAM - do not know if that affects CPU overall.

Re: New MacBook Pro with Live 11 - You've got to be kidding!!
I create a song and then duplicate it until it fails. I have VST and native Ableton FX and Instruments.
So far I have a 10 track song that can go as much as 80 tracks on Mac Mini M1.

Re: Ableton Live 11.1 Apple Silicon Memory occupation
Thanks Jur! I'm on that. I have also did an experiment (I work in IT so I like to look for each single CPU cycle I can get) by reducing my iMac 2013 RAM down to 6GB and 7GB with a RAM Disk and my music still stands. macOS compared to Linux, fills up all memory with all that he can, program pages, c...
