I prefer to use the local library, so when I set up another user for whatever reason, I can access my plug-ins easily - but it is really ...

The metronome .wav's are within the Live package itself. So on a Mac the path is: Live/Contents/App-Resources/Misc (to get to this via the Finders gui, right-click on Lives' application icon and choose 'Show package contents') And for the Window path...have a dig around, or maybe someone else can ch...

The simplest thing do to would be to map the sl pads to the white keys between and including C3 - C4, as these are what Impulse is automatically mapped to. It's highly likely that the sl has a preset for this. If you wish to re-map Impulse's pads, you can with some Midi effect trickery, do a search ...

OK, my lastest idea, if we cannot have notes in File Manager or Info view, what about a direct 'hook' into Spotlight comments? Something like this http://myskitch.com/onslaught/livenotes-20070625-181934.jpg I've basically combined a Automator Finder plugin dialogue box(for adding Spotlight comments ...

Thanks Guys, you've been a great help. So just to clarify, say I was to install Absynth or a FM8, i simply keep the program file in the plug ins folder as you've demonstrated above? With Native Instruments apps, they have their own installer, meaning the installer will copy the application, audio u...

And your warping files .asd's? I did a test, it doesn't look like .asds' get created. So as already suggested, Live creates a .wav file in the decoding cache anyway, meaning the file has to be on your local harddrive (or where ever your decoding cache is located). So there you go. Maybe a pref opti...
