I am not sure what the correct terms are, but can you say use a portion of a song over a series of pic's and switch into another song in the same presentation... use portions of songs? With iPhoto I mean. You could definitely do this with Garageband and iMovie, or maybe edit the audio in Garageband...

Got it set up within a drumrack using Kontakt and Micro Tonic.

It depends on what sort of result you want. For me I'm usually slicing drums, so original tempo is good. Plus when sliced, the resulting midi clip will play at whatever tempo. With the drum racks though, it seems Impulse has been left behind, it'd be cool if the Abletons made a 'Stretch' device or a...
