Question on my mind since I saw this video: How does this guy trigger all those clips with just the 8 notes on his midi keyboard? How can you scroll around in Live without the mouse? How do you choose a multiple clips with the same key? I would think that a midi keyboard that had 25 keys only allow...

I don't know that you would find a MIDI controller with 400 buttons, but you might start by sending MIDI to the scenes via laptop keyboard or MIDI keyboard. With my Radium 49, i have 6 different octaves that i can change back and fouth to. You can asign scenes to the same notes in different octaves....

Hey I do the same thing except with a BCR2000. If you want to prelisten, get some audio interface with at least 2 stereo outputs. That way, you can hook it up to your computer VIA firewire or USB and through one output to the main mix and the other to your headphones. (If it is RCA, throw 1+2 to mai...

I have the JBL Eons for DJing and they work great. The only thing is that they are 400 each, and i don't think it would sound very good just using one speaker. However, they are active cabs so you don't need an extra Amplifier as you would with passive cabs. I do recommend them if you want to get in...

I started a song a while ago, and the vocals sit perfectly in that song with a couple minor pitch ajustments. This is going to rock when it's done. Kind of Crystal Method/Prodigy style song. Sort of, but it has my own signature to it. I'll post the link when i'm done.

Oh yea. I forgot to say. I'm running Reason 3.0 to create sounds and Live 5.03 for everything else (both at the same time). That might help if you pose a reply. Thanks again.

upagrade in RAM, will it really help?

Hey Fellow Abletoners. I'm on a Powerbook 1.67 Ghz, 15", only running 512 mb of RAM. I was wondering if I put in 512 mb more RAM it would really help. Or would have to put in another 1 GB of RAM to really notice the difference. Sorry to ask, but some personal questions can't be answered via Sea...
