any help would be appreciated...When I hook up my m-audio oxygen 8 vs 2, I can see windows XP detecting it, but when I go to preferences then Midi/Sync tab, I don't see an input midi port.

Can anyone help?

thanks Martin for the reply...I actually went to the MIDI preferences tab and tried to do so, but the input column is disabled and I can't change anything on it...Under Midi ports also, I don't see an input port...only an output.

maybe any midi keyboard as an input? would appreciate your help.

For any Oxygen 8 v 2 users, I installed the driver to windows xp and it detects it, but for some reason Ableton doesn't. I went to preferences and then midi/sync tab and I don't see it added there. What should I do in order to make it readable by Ableton?

Could you guys please suggest some microphones out there in the range of 50-100 dollars to record vocals? I have a nice voice but it's low. I would like a good mic to be sensitive and detect low pitched voices of course with good quality.

the same thing is happening. I linked the speakers to the back of it in stereo line. The noise is still the same.

hello everyone, i'm having some problems regarding audio with Mobile pre usb. If I hook up my speakers through the 1/4 headphones input, then turn up the volume all the way up, i heard noise coming out from the speakers. I'm looking for a free VST plugin for electronic voice. I'm not sure what it is called, but it's what cher uses most of the time. I'm not sure if Live 5 has that already. If not, could you please refer me a free plugin please?
