Re: Accessing the operator GUI
I haven't had the chance to try it yet, but if it does do it on the lemur, then that would mean that parts of the GUI are exposed by the Live API which is the main thing I was looking for.
Where does one view the Live API?

Re: Accessing the operator GUI
Looks like that template is exposing some of the envelope parameters, I need to test whether it actually changes the view in ableton by clicking on different parts of the template
I assume you are referring to this one? http://liine.net/en/community/user-library/view/70/

Re: Accessing the operator GUI
This would certainly make sound creation in Operator so much more fluid. An alternative could be an expanded Operator gui which showed all 8 sections all at once along with all related envelopes and settings There is way too much unnecessary mousing and clicking in the current condensed interface :c...

Accessing the operator GUI
has anyone figured out a way to access the operator GUI via midi or keycommands? I would like to be able to select any of the 8 modules around the operator gui without the mouse : eg select the filter module and then have all the parameters show up in the middle. is this something that would be poss...

Re: Best filters?
Cytomics The Drop is without a doubt on another level completely. The other filters mentioned here are great, but the Drop seems to get very close to the hardware it is emulating (only MS20 and SH-Cascade filters are running so far - Moog Ladder and Prodigy filters yet to come). It's pretty amazing ...

Re: How can I get the best quality video?
cool. it got you experimenting and that's really what encoding video is about - thankfully ableton doesn't offer the dizzying (aka overwhelming to the uninitiated) array of possibilities that exists in dedicated video editing/encoding software

Re: How can I get the best quality video?
do you have quicktime listed as a format option? if so go into the settings and set the codec to animation at best quality. You will get 100% of the original quality of your video Make sure you set the size to 'current'. And also make sure that you have sound ticked in the quicktime settings animati...

Re: Recommended Headphones for Mixing?
Another vote for AKG 701s. I have had my pair for a year now and while they sounded pretty good out of the box, they really have changed tremendously and sound amazing now - incredibly detailed and I just trust them completely. I use them at least 8 hours every day. I am using them with an Apogee Du...
