Is anybody else having problems when rewiring Live 6.0.5 in Nuendo 3 or Cubase SX3? It is really inconsistent for me.

Live 6.0.5 is not solid running in Nuendo 3 via rewire. It sometimes opens, sometimes not. Once it opens, it sometimes does not open my file. That is why I'm asking about Forward Compatibility! Is Live 6 NOT backwards compatible? I don't see any mention of this.

I'm on Mac 5.0.3 using via rewire in Nuendo 2.2.39 in OSX 10.3.8 with RME 96/52 card and a firewire drive with my Live samples on it. When ever I walk away for 5 minutes or so, my computer crashes (color wheel). Whenever I work w/o Live, I can let it sit overnight with no crash. Could it be the fire...

I don't think this problem is Logic specific. My Nuendo 2 host doesn't even let 4.1.3 open now. 4.1.2 opens fine, but NOT 4.1.3.


Mac OSX 10.2.8 Dual 1.25 ghz 2 gig RAM RME DSP 96/52

4.1.3 does NOT open in Nuendo 2, 4.1.2 DOES open. 4.1.3 just disappears, no window- nothing; so when you go to quit Nuendo, it says LIVE is open, etc.
Re-installed twice to try.
