This is what I've been dreaming off, hope it comes true.bridgealantee wrote:I sure hope so. Also might allow you to make hot cues and thus create an mlr type situation where you can trigger any point of your clip.Tone Deft wrote: just ranting. . could we FINALLY scratch clips?

Re: Live 8.1.1 is online! (change log included)
I have a strange issue. My Motu Ultralite midi interface is receiving constant midi messages from the "Keys" output in v. 8.1.1, really like rapid fire. It doesn't seem to interfere with the rest of my midi set up fortunately. The main issue I was dealing with in v. 8.1 has been resolved. ...

Re: Quality
I'm happy to see that Ableton is finally getting its priorities straight. Fixing minor and major bugs and streamlining Live 8 is much more important than trying to cram more and more half finished features into an already complex piece of software.
Thank you Ableton.

Re: Latest Live 8 version: Live 8.1 is online!
I'm having midi sync issues with 8.1.
My Roland TB 303 goes out of sync when I insert return channels in my live sets.
When I restart Live 8.1 everything plays in sync again, but after a while it start running out of sync again.
I'll wait for update 8.1.1

Re: Latest Live 8 version: Live 8.1 is online!
8.1 is fine with me.
8.0.8 was very unstable on my mbp 13".
I think it all depends on what you use, when you use it and how you use it.

It would be so cool if you could make a midi clip sequence in lets say operator, have operator play the sequence and then be able to use time code vinyl/CD emulation to further manipulate the sequence. Same thing with drum racks, simpler, sampler etc... I want to know more, this sounds quite exiting...
