happens when selecting, launching or touching anything with a mouse.
if I have a single audio clip playing and I slowly drag to select some time on the arrange area, the cpu will build to 38%

Re: new VIRUS TI2!

I think it's to do with the fact that the knobs on the korg controller have dedicated CC numbers and Midi channel information. anyone know i...

Re: NEW MACBOOK PRO... What we've all been waiting for!
My old white macbook (2Ghz processor / 2GB Ram) has done me proud for 3 years - gigs and dj'ing 20 hours a week, and another 8-16 in the studio She's a bit beaten up now, so I was looking to upgrade: Tower for the studio? Or maybe an imac plus a new whitebook for shows? I'd been weighing it up these...

discovered this a few weeks ago, but it's been giving me smiles throughout this all-day/all-night session today:
select time anywhere (arrangement time, or in a midi clip, or in audio when warping), then double-click the zoom area... zooms to fit selection

Re: The Little List of Tips and Tricks
leaving the originals where they are I would also assume it safer to leave the originals where they are, but without having a concrete reason and because they are doing no harm. But why do u do it? Do u have a specific reason from experience? Besides making it easier to install updates for certain ...

Re: The Little List of Tips and Tricks
Now (in live 8 ) you can create folders inside the standard folders in the Device browser, so you can organise your presets better. Also, any kind of Instrument preset can go into the Instrument Racks folder. So I've just reorganised my entire collection of Instrument presets in a way that makes mor...

Re: New Producers Question Series: Question 1: NEED HELP!
Music, Audio and the Creative Process is a great thing to explore and wallow in, and many years can be enjoyed in doing just that - exploring and discovering. The same can be said for carpentry, cooking, or chemistry - or anything like that. So yeah, while self-"teaching" is a bit of an ox...

Re: PLEASE bring back the timeline in warp clip view
it'd be really helpful - for example offsetting latent recordings.
in this case it doesn't matter if the timeline is only displaying original tempo, or even if the timeline is warped and stretched.
