heres something odd, the drop outs seem to occurr more quickly if you use a mixture of bit rates in your samples / clips, which got me thinking..... i've run the same basic set 14 channels of a mixture of long and short clips using only 16bit wav ,only 24 bitwav versions and a mixture of 16 and 24 b...

changing tempo
here u go, the 'moving tempo' you are experiencing is very large so some problem there. BUT you will see some movement in tempo (plus or minus approx0.4bpm @130bpm) as the resolution of midi time code self corrects itself for non-rational numbers (x.333333 recurring etc) by rounding up or down to th...

audio drop-outs
here's an interesting one. Create a new user and desktop specifically for live on you powerbook, Set up and check all your basic default settings/drivers for software and hardware. Now run your 'set' , tried this to test out a new external hard drive and got a performance boost of about 15% and NO A...

midi interface
hi there, I've used a number of midi interfaces with live and none have caused any major problems, the Midiman USB midisport products have all proved to be the best value ,if you are on a budget----and the MOTU USB stuff are also good but proportionally more expensive, ---the only ones to avoid are ...

live--live
OS X (10.2.3)
very stable....
the itunes tip is good...even create mp3's of tracks (left chann-mono mix of your track, right chann- click track) to use as a replacement track until live reboots.
Will be using live on tour soon and will report back with anything interesting

recall of track activation, when loading a session
All I Want Is,
recall of track activation, when loading a session
to enable me to recall input/arm tracks when loading a session
for live performance with a full band.
I'll be mixing down 16 channels of instruments/voices and adding up to 16Live tracks, hopefully
