The old two-turntable thing is all played out. I got bored of that stuff years ago. Only the very best guys are any fun to watch or even listen to. I think I've seen a thousand 13-year old white kids from suburbia that could rock the decks as good as anyone. Live and CDJ stuff has given Dj-ing the m...

While finding Kid Beyond quite talented and creative, I was soon bored with it. The crappy lo-fi sound didn't help, but I'd find it difficult to watch more than 10 minutes of that. Kind of a aural circus act, and not doing much more with Live than you could do with any looping device. Agreed. I thi...

Re: Good turntables for sampling vinyl into live5?
I need a decent turntable to sample some of my records with. Are there any w/ a good internal preamp + digital outs? I know there's a ton of reviews on these things but I'd figure I'd try to get some live user direction first. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! William I hear the Stanton STR8-1...

Anyone here use nLite?

http://kramer.wusik.com/users/kramer/liverig1.jpg This is my live rig that I use to DJ dub on the radio. I'm currently making some changes but this is what I've been using. The rack units are old Digitech RDS delays running in the loop of the DJ mixer. I'm using the Edirol PCR-30A as the interface ...

I sometimes play through a computer rig.
It usually goes like this:
Digitech BP50-->Edirol PCR-A30-->PC with energyXT or eXT hosted in Live5--->PA or bass amp
I use too many VSTs to list right now but try this stuff:

I tried the Bidule demo once and I didn't like it. I went to energyXT and never looked back!
