I also tried draging clips from arrange window into left browser without success. Then I found the reason:
drag and drop of clips is only possible in Seesion window!

i don't know any configuration that enables sure synchronisation between computer (ok - i didn't try all). computers run out of timing as soon as cpu spikes appear. my experience is to set warp active anyway. For sure doubleclick (=warp) the last point before loop (or clip end) so that the wohle track is really warped even if it doesn't need warping because it's the original tempo.

If this is not the solution you detected a heavy bug!
