Cool video, but it sounds like he wants to use finalscratch to control ableton live... which might be possible if there is some kind of driver or something to get at the midi/timecode or whatever... but I haven't heard about it. Might be worth running in windows on your intel mac to get it to work m...

As long as you don't use encrypted sample libraries for Kontakt...

Sampler is definitely a solid choice for Live, and it is very CPU efficient. I also like Kontakt as it has some great effects, but a lot of what you'd do with Kontakt you can do in Sampler.

Sorry, haven't noticed this on any of my systems yet. Do you have a grounding issue... try a different computer as it might have a grounding issue caused by the drives or something too...

Running OS X, Intel version... loaded up Live 6 and Guitar Rig 2.2, and I can only see the VST version of Guitar Rig. For some odd reason I'm not seeing the AU version show up, even though all of my other NI instruments/FX are being listed. Not certain if this is a Live issue, or Guitar Rig issue, b...

It isn't supported... so I wouldn't bother... and Kontakt 2 Universal Binary isn't on the roadmap for NI for a while... you might be better off getting Sampler after all :P... Oh, and why not look into software that will convert formats for you? There are plenty, I am sure you can find something to...

Apparently you didn't read any of the other posts that the abes have made or checked the webshop ... if you already own Live 6 then you get the box/manual/eis at a discount.

Since you're on a laptop, I would suggest a high-quality external audio interface around the $300-$400 range... I'm very new to the terminology. Mind providing me with an example? Well as a workaround I moved my loop library into the ableton live directory. Kind of goofy to me, but I guess it'll work and I can do what I want.

Somewhat oddly, if you go to your library and drag a clip there, it will save just the clip, but if you drag a clip to for example the directory that the loop resides it saves as a project. Is there a way to modify this behavior? I really would like to be able to drag a clip to be next to it's .wav/...

Nah, I'm just looking to save clip automation/plugin info for any given sample such as we were able to do in Live 5... I just don't want to always have to carry on all that Project information along with it.
