Thanks for the advice ;) since I bought L5 I am part of the (inofficial) beta testing program and in contact with the support team. I get an average crash rate of 1/hour. It's mostly non-reproducible crashes (copy/paste, undo, move clips & tracks ...) though. My other big issue is the ultra bad ...

After using 5.02 for a couple of days and still having around 1 crash per hour I realize that it's just as crappy as prior versions. I had unreproducible crashes after: select all in clip view copy/paste undo/redo new in 5.02:moving tracks up/down Again: Bestest L5 feature => recover from last undo....

dude.. just being curious; you paid 450 euro's for L5 and you claim that you used L4 , so therefore I conclude you're 'coming clean' with buying L5 cause that ain't no upgrade price you paid, if you na' what I mean.. Very clever Poster and yes You are right: I did not buy L4 ... my former employer ...

Well, I think I will have to "borrow" my sisters Notebook (PC) till the abes offer a stable OSX release. Don't get me wrong! L4 is awesome and I am pretty sure L5 will be one day as well, but till now it just cost me lots of time, money and pain! Come back from holidays, abes and straighte...

Well, I started using L4 with version 4.1 or so. Have earlier versions of L4 been unstable as well? Is that maybe the common "good software needs a good amount of testing and debugging CUSTOMERS" ableton strategy?
