Re: Live 12 is coming !
Ability to cmd/select non-contiguous items, across more than 1 channel in Arrange without grabbing everything in between or chopping beginning/ends of events? Ripple edit on a single channel as opposed to global? Any defined event nudge values attached to a key command instead of 'drag it and hope w...

Re: Delete time on a single channel? Move discrete chunks en masse?
Yeaaah....quirk is kinda polite  and yes it can do amazing things but what use is a screwdriver when I need a wrench or the screwdriver magnetizes everything in sight when I try and use it? How would you work around it though, not grabbing/moving unwanted ends of chunks, mashing up automati...

Re: Delete time on a single channel? Move discrete chunks en masse?
Thanks Tarekith, good to see another dusty old-timer!
Such a shame these 2 still aren't there....just blows my mind I'm forced to choose between potentially trashing work to move things or do it piecemeal and trash inter-region timing.
Any nudge-by-xyz yet? ie nudge selection by bars/n ticks etc?

Delete time on a single channel? Move discrete chunks en masse?
I've been using Live since 1.5. In 2022, nearly 2023...all these years later I'm asking again: 1. is there any way to delete time on a single track, not globally? 2. Is it possible to discretely select multiple regions across multiple tracks simultaneously? ie to select only certain desired regions ...

Best simple iPad/Mac remote control solution right now?
Hey forum, away a while so not up on the bleeding edge but use Live 10 most days. I need some kind of iPad remote control solution to use in a voice booth for: simple stop/start select new clip to record start record select clip to playback Other than that I don't need a ton of features, it's not a ...

Re: Narration Processing
Sounds like the videos you want to treat already are already embedded with the audio, right? It's kind of a 2-part problem - treat audio and edit video. Did you edit/put the audio in the videos? Do you have the video edit files ie Premiere etc? If you or someone else does then the original audio sho...

Re: Logic update looks dope
Let's hope so....for me 'amazing' would be like getting a knife and fork for Xmas but I'd settle for that. Just random internet person opinion but it feels like Logic got it the right way round - refine and nail the basics, then add the bells and whistles. Live came out the gate as a literal game ch...

Re: Logic update looks dope
Hi There, I've been using Live since version 2, and have flipped between wonderment and frustration (mainly due to crashing). I moved to using Logic as my main DAW several years ago (has never crashed) and much preferred the mixing environment (especially the 'drummer' plug-in and swipe comping fun...

Re: Moving clips small amounts
Do you mean in a track in arrange view? What version are you on? In 10 you can select a clip then left/right arrow to nudge by the grid size or by variable/narrowest down to off, all of which nudges by some random amount depending on zoom level. This and a couple of other things are so haphazard it ...

Rogue Amoeba's Audio Hijack Pro is what you want.
Depending on your sound card you could just route some outs to some ins and record it in Live.
