AU works fine but VST3 you're right of course.Angstrom wrote: the only minor problem for people here would be that Ableton doesn't support VST3, which is what's required to run something like the Plug-out SH101, or the Plug-out System 100 or ... any future Roland Plug-out VSTs

Re: NAMM 16 - Rumors and Hopeful Products?
Not a leak, they announced it a long time ago and while taking their time I'd say they're getting closer as they have announced pricing now. https://www.gearslutz.com/board/music-computers/914359-metric-halo-announces-new-technologies-upgrade-path.html?highlight=metric+halo is a start. Not sure I'll...

Re: NAMM 16 - Rumors and Hopeful Products?
Compare them channel for channel with Apogee and it ain't so different and don't forget to add the $ you just lost on a resale Quartet. Last trumpet blow but MH have a "future-proof' policy that offers full support, drivers and hardware upgrade to expand functionality beyond original on a ~10 y...

Re: NAMM 16 - Rumors and Hopeful Products?
A truly portable size/shape, true 4-in/out, pro-level (read Metric Halo, Apogee etc) audio interface. Sorry, RME stuff always seems to have some kind of 'Uh? If only....'. Basically if MH, Apogee or RME remade an NI Komplete Audio 6 in 4x4 I'd be set for life. Of course this entire thread is about '...

Indeed, 'true analog' as opposed to 'not analog', 'synthesized analog' or even 'analogous to analog'.sana48 wrote:The new Minilogue by Korg is true analog, and would serve as a great first analog synth from what I am reading

Re: Controlling analogue drum synth with Drum Rack in LiveIntro
Assuming you gain-staged properly, why would this give you more noise than say running the 8 drm outs into a regular mixer? Sorry if I'm missing the point but I can't get where all this extra noise is coming from.

Re: any Mac Automator savvy peeps here?
Very cool, thanks for the help! I want to: 1. drop files or folders into designated folder A > 2. a renaming app (A Better Finder Rename http://www.publicspace.net/ABetterFinderRename) opens and contents of A appear and are processed (simple click to 'go' once files appear) > 3. app quits > 4. a key...

any Mac Automator savvy peeps here?
I'd like to do something relatively simple in terms of auto audio file renaming > key analysis of any files/folders I drop into a designated folder. Done some looking around and basic attempts but finding nothing that's helping me. I have a clear manual process but can't figure out how to get Automa...
