improved performance: LLVM options for OS X build
Hi!
I was wondering if it is possible for ableton to set the compile with gcc/LLVM option for the OS X version of live ..
I assume that XCode is used for build and therefore it should be an easy tweak for significant performance boost ..
somewhere I read about 30+% .. that would be cool ..

Re: 8.0.1 - OSX - Fullscreen on Second Monitor - Dock invisible
Short update: more serious addendum to my initial post: now I can't quit Live. Neither "end application" from context menu in dock not command-q works. The welcome screen which has the buttons "Demo starten" and "Life beenden" also can't be closed. Am I the only unlucky...

On my MacBook Pro I am using Live in Fullscreen Mode on my external Monitor. On the primary display wh...

hi there! on my macbook pro 15" (2007 model, 16:10, 1440x900) with os x 10.5.6 the fullscreen mode of live is completely broken, if the live window is placed on my external (15", 4:3, 1280x1024) monitor. that's my common setup and with all versions of live 7 the fullscreen mode works as (i...

Live as Universal Binary in time for Intel Macs
I read a rumor that intel driven powerbooks maybe will come early next year. It would be extremely nice if live is ready just in time .. for all those like me waiting with their computer upgrade for those intel machines with Mac Os X .. My iBook is not as usable as i thought before i installed Live ...

re: SDK for third party devs
yes! that's exactly my thought.
maybe the possibility to create skins for third party au/vst plugins via xml with a set of "standard" buttons, knobs, faders etc. to allow the use in a more like live manner ..

Maybe MidiShare is what you are looking for ..
Hi!
Check out this:
http://midishare.sourceforge.net/
It's more than free but open source ..
You are not only able to sync Mac OS X with Windows with Linux.
You can create sort of "virtual" midi devices which are connected
over LAN (or WAN ..).
Cheers
