From what I understand of the situation (which is limited) if you are in the US you can write to your government representative to express your unhappiness with the proposed legislation. If you are in the UK (robin) you can't do anything. Don't forget who the World Police are. There is nothing we ca...

If any one has problems with their macbook pro 15" battery causing random shutdowns and other niggly things, they can get a free battery replacement from apple if your battery is on the list: https://support.apple.com/macbookpro15/batteryexchange/index.html Personally, I bought an iMac 2GHz wit...

Bugger! I thought they might have opened the plugins up...I wonder if there's a back door anywhere to install AU's instead of compiling it all in one program...

Makes me wonder why Apple don't sell their plugins seperately though. They are incredible.

Re: better to wait?

I just talked to my local apple dealer and they've actually told me not to buy the new intel macs. I made a similar mistake buying the first generation imac G5's. No sooner than a few months did new versions arrive at a lower cost. The word is that intel will be coming out with a 64 bit processor v...

Nothing against Mac here, I've had a Mac and loved it, but at this stage in the game, I'm more interested in using what I have versus trying to keep up with the Jones's. I see your point here, I know it's not against Macs but I bought my iMac purely because of the frustration that Windows has given...
