Well, it´s just that I´d like to assign controllers to vstis
in a comfortable way and fast. That´s a feature of automap.
That´s all and the point.

And after all I don´t get you, when you make me feel like
you wanna get offensive.

Strange. I´m facing a serious problem with the template editor.
Every time I import the name of a plugin and let the editor map
the ccs, it shows all ccs are set to "0". Can anyone confirm this?

I could swear yesterday it wasn´t so and my templates worked...

I´ll give that a try, though I also need to bind controllers for the synth vstis that do not come with live and I guess midilearn doen´t help that much in that case. So far I guess this automap thing needs some improvement for L5. The cubase setup looks very interesting with it´s more modular archit...

After all, I think this automap thing will need some improvement,
but it might work finde in the future.

As I have programmed some templates now, I can say this is really
easy with the editor. So I guess I´ll keep the SL and use it as
a hugh, easy to program controller.

Bong Sau, could you decribe how to do that? I mean, if you assign a knob, where do you save it? In the automap template? Is this possible for every plugin? I´ll do further testing as this weekend a decision is needed if I keep that SL. Well, 429 € are a heavy loss to me if its useless. And you know,...

@ Deadly Kungfu: Somehow I get the feeling I didn´t make myself clear. I set SL to automap. I insert a vsti to a midichannel. I open it like I do for editing it with my mouse. Still the LCD says "Select a device". No menues appear and I can´t select anything. I´m a bit confused about that....

That automate feature doen´t seem to work for me. I updated L5 to the 5.2 Novation version, installed the Novation up to date software., set the SL as Midi controller and to automap mode. Every time I load up a vst, the SL keeps teeling me "select a device to edit it". Am I mssing something?

no that´s not unique to reactor, you can changes this e.g.
for the ohmboyz plugs, too.

Very few crashes here, Nothing compared to the better workflow
I have now using Live5.

And - what is most important - the recover feature worked 100% correctly.
