Re: AbleTEN Live Packs - dragging .alp file asks for location?!

I just noticed that it says on the site "These Packs require Live 8.0.9 or higher" I thought I kept up to the minute with my updates, but was only on 8.0.5.

Downloading 8.0.9 now and will re-try install.

Re: AbleTEN Live Packs - dragging .alp file asks for location?!

I tried adding them to another folder and it said it installed fine, but then I couldn't find it--seems like a horrible filing system to have to remember WHERE every type of Live Pack project is stored. I'd like to be able to locate these centrally, but since at least one of these new ones contains ...

I would say it should be global as well. I tag-team using Live/Laptop/Midi controller with my DJ partner frequently and I beatmatch into his sets, but my inability to nudge something back into beat like a DJ can do using brake/nudge techniques is a real handicap for what we're trying to do. I can se...

Global tuning for Live with Rewire

I've been using Ableton with Reason rewired into it for a huge non-CPU-intensive arsenal of instruments to be played via my Korg Mikrocontroller. My biggest gripe is that when I'm playing along with a DJ, I can't nudge my Reason tuning to match the DJ. I can do this fine with Reason standalone, but ...

Mapping of Record function for use in live situation

This is a minor issue, but as I create larger and larger sets, it is becoming a problem. I'm using my Korg Microcontroller with Live 4 and Reason and it works like a champ. I have typically mapped a pad to a particular slot on a track that is permanently set up to record in session view, so no matte...

Realtime tweak recording as Rewire slave

Yes, the bounce to clip or even Export Audio will both do this task fine if the tracks are not muted or archived. I've done this a number of times on my old pc and it is great because it renders with everything perfectly in time, even when you have plugins galore. I just recently upgraded to a screa...

Pencil me in for full agreement. I keep waffling between wanting to keep the music going (meaning all tracks have to be in one project) and having self-contained, well-defined, one-song-per-project. Having a more flexible "Super-project" that lets you incorporate other existing tracks woul...

Live Audio Glitches when switching synths in Reason Rewired

I'm running Live with Reason Rewired in to add parts on the fly, so I created a rack in reason with a variety of synths that I just leave open. The problem is, when I click on one of the synths, there is a nasty seize up by live--not after choosing it, but the first time you try to play one of them....

Another enhancement to the existing browser window...auto vertical centering. Currently, if you click on a folder to expand it and it is toward the bottom of the browser screen, you can't even tell if there is anything in the folder, but if you down arrow to see, you end up launching the pre-listen ...

Organizing Sets...Pre-listen to projects as well as clips

Given all the discussion and requests for a way to segue from song to song, I bet the good folks at Abelton are probably working on this as the next enhancement--a better way to compile or import projects into a larger one. For me, just being able to pre-listen to a full project before opening/impor...

Yes! Being able to go to markers and also name and grab entire sections by that name would be most helpful for organizing and arranging sets.

The trickiest thing is that each scene can send midi data out of two different ports for each section (encoders, sliders, joystick, pads, keyboard). Think of the MicroK as a collection of 5 different midi devices and that will make more sense. You can even do things like send the Keyboard and Pads t...
