Yeah, it's always been an awesome pair. The interface is simple, and once you get it setup in live mode, you probably won't even need the manual anymore (all the features are up front and intuitive).

+1 on the sluggish meter display, but using looking at the meters in software is better anyway.

Hey, try loading preset 1 on the TF (recall -> p1). Then try the drum rack. Also rightclick on the drumrack title bar and lock to trigger finger to keep the mapping always active.

I noticed the setup.exe on the suite dvd 1 is about 40 megabytes larger than the downloaded one I used. Also, the dvd version is 7.0 vs the 7.0.1 download.

Should I uninstall 7.0.1, then install the dvd 7.0, and then upgrade to 7.0.1 again?

I have this as well. I bought the suite, and installed all 4 dvd's on top of live 6.0.10, and have the missing samples message at the bottom that will not go away. No, typically in this situation people have 2 tracks setup; one for recording with the monitor off, and one for listening with the monitor on/auto. Just route the same audio to both tracks. It is a bus track concept and is very common.
