I know that most Audio Damage plug ins support UB. I wish Camel Audio and Smartelectronix would hurry up and port to UB.

Logic in the studio, Live onstage (hence the name "Live")....Ive never had perfromance issues with Live onstage, and even use Reason rewired thru Live onstage with no probs at all. All I have is a 700mhz G3 iBook, altough I keep the hard drive as free as possible.

You guys are all WRONG....when using the 33.40XG steinway encode gateway, WITH 30 second vermillion interspersing, the human ear experiences a -300db bass trap codec froth. Great set bro!! Do you use MP3s or AIFF/WAV ?? I have found its a pain in the butt for Live to always have to reload/decode the MP3 files every time. Any suggestions?

Dont know about Live 4, but in Live 5 , go to the effects section of the browser, choose "effects groups" and choose "mastering chain"...put it on your MASTER channel. Easy!!

I use one deck, which I run into Ableton (via Firewire 410) ...that way I can sample from vinyl on the fly...I can also apply Abletons effects to the vinly tracks.

BTW...I have never been able to rename clips...I have been using Live since Live 2. Is it an issue with G3 processors maybe? It is very frustrating.

Thanks for the speedy answers but... I AM renaming the clip within Live. Also I cant understand why i would have to go thru moving into arrangement veiw and consolodating.....it juts seems that I should be able to permanantly change the name within the Live file browser, no??
