It isn't possible in Live 6 at least, which is a shame. On the advice of some helpful people here I implemented a workaround. It IS possible to select the device with the keyboard (repeated alt-arrows if I remember correctly) so with the aid of Boomes midi translator I managed to automap my Kaoss Pa...

Midi doesn't transmit audio. You need to hook up your keyboard with audio cables. Also do yourself a favour and use the www.asio4all.com drivers for much lower latency.

You could sync over Ethernet which you presumably already have. Test ipMidi from here:

Yellow Tools just realeased a freeware version of their sampler. It comes with a 2 GB (!) free sound library that probably should cover most of your orchestral needs.

I don't DJ. When I go to a club I want to listen to some good beats. I couldn't care less what technology the DJ uses. If he is extremely good/experienced he could probably play them from his IPod while having a smoke and I would neither notice nor care. I do realize that in most instances it is goo...
