Most absynth filters shine better when coupled with a little bit of waveshaping in my opinion.

Re: pc crashed out during working in live, total restart of pc ?
could be RAM... you can download a memory tester. It runs from CD so you have to set your PC to boot from CDROM. You don't have to reinstall your OS once a year to keep it running smooth. Thats like having back surgery once a year to make sure you can still ride your bike. If you don't go online yo...

Re: Live 8 forced me to reformat my hard drive.
This behavior could come from corrupted preferences imo but you said you reformated your hardrive so you are running on a fresh vista ( gosh ! ) install and a fresh live 7 one without any success ?
what are these error messages the support never heard of ?

Live freeze/flatten at 32 bit floating
My live config is for 24b 48 khz audio but when I use freeze and then flatten live is generating a 32b 48 khz file.
I was expecting the freeze function to use user defined settings, was I wrong ?

Re: How to Sync Computers ...
every midi interface can handle the job.
you can also go that way
buy a multiple out midi interface and plug it to the master computer
send the signal to all midi outputs and slave everyone that way, this is imo a more robust solution since you avoid multiple signal repetitions from the midi thru.
