I've actually done it. I read the manual and there is a midi utility which allows you to change the CC# Assignment. I select the knob on my electribe and just assign them between 1-95. It has worked.

Yes, they all send midi. Ableton receives midi from every knob, it just isn't mapping them all. I will check the korg manual. In the demostration that I saw from Korg, all knobs send midi. The midi receiver in ableton lights up showing midi is being sent from my Korg.

Hello.

Just decided to try and control ableton using my electribe mx and sx. For some reason, only a few of the knobs are being recognised by ableton. Can anyone help here? Are there any other users of the electribe series trying the same thing here?

Clipper. My deep house mix was done on my Technics 1210s. Glad you all like it. I need to go deeper though. Mixing isn't really difficult. I will try some new things next time in my mix.

I used Tracktor. It's only a live mix.

Hundreds of people swear by the Electribe valves, and i'm one of them. I guess they just add the lights for a glow effect. I guess it's just for stlye.

The Electribes do the same. I have both electribes and you can see the lights behind the valves. This doesn't mean it's a con. I can clearly hear a difference when the tubes on my electribes are turned up. They add soo much presence and warmth.
