i know the cdj1000s well.

assign midi commands to the loop on/ off and position / length commands in clip view. its almost exactly the same. just have to be aware of timing due to quantization.

try it. turn loop on. when u turn it off, it just keeps playing. doesnt jump anywhere.

ive had no issues like this. to use automation in any host, the Reaktor param must be assigned an "automation ID." that's probably what you're talking about. i would assume some from user library may not have those assigned. rarely i have gone in and changed some automation Id's, maybe whe...

Re: thanks and another idea

I want one knob to select a track (or maybe each track assigned to a midi channel) and then another knob to select instruments/macros/effects/racks from left to right and back. what u CAN do already without third-party app: midi assign selecting ANY track. (midi learn mode, click track's name bar, ...

you need to read the manual on the subject of automapping, and maybe even user mappings. then youll find your presets.

i can totally do it. ill be back soon. i love these kinds of things.

it'll be way easier with BOmes PRo. go get the demo of it. its got conditional rules...

yo

i have the EMU 1820, and it has performed flawlessly for 2 years. solid, and affordable, and AWESOME converters.

one of the variations of that would be equally so. mine is the PCI version.

right -

forgot to mention having NI products - i am fortunate and have every single one of them.

the interface really isn't TOO shabby, i use it as my main one for now, i really like having a knob to grab for the main volume. my emu card didnt have that.

cheers

i'm sorry. in my last post, replace "track" with "clip." its per clip not per track. not what you wanted to hear, but youre figuring it out. at least to start you'll prolly wanna play with looping while looking at that clip, to get a feel for it... so if that happens NOT to be th...

Even if i assign different midi keys to the alternate track you are assigning those keys not to a different track(s), but to whatever clip is active. you need to work with selecting the track you want to loop. u can use arrow keys to step through the slots and select. also there is a preference as ...

i drop Kore on a track, and load instruments within it. not any different than utilizing it elsewhere. its kinda like a rack macro of live, similar. but 1. no matter where you go in live, unlike a typical track, your focus is still on kore and the instrument(s) you loaded within it, using the contro...
