The new prest handling in LIve 5 seems to take us even further away from the wish to select them via automation etc. There is no list to choose from but it goes directly to the live browser. // C also.. if you hit the 'browse' button on a device it automatically goes to the 'main' Live library... b...

experiencing the same here.. guess it takes some time to get used to this one.. I noticed it does not sound ok with long and or long timestretched samples.. Also not with long decayed bassdrums.. sounds muddy.. I also, sometimes, after twisting some knobs, don't have any sound.. must be some drastic...

aaahhh man.. going crazy here..

:idea: Try loading up each slot with the same sample
but all different tune, stretch, start, decay, etc. settings....

Arped Impulse...!

Did you beta ppl allready tried arping the Impulse..? Whhooooee... having a blast with it... Takes some smart programming of the Arp, but ones you have it running ok..damnnnn... Little tips: - if you set 'Hold' on, the beat keeps looping.. - Triggering other notes makes it work like a poorman's step...

That said though, as with most things, time using the application will help you adjust... I'm a designer myself, and have noticed this issue with new versions of any kind of software - audio or otherwise... I'am also a designer, and if I was on the job I would've done a re-design that doesn't take ...
