Man decknme u done started a lot of these threads but I still havent seen the blind test.....the sound i can buy.....the timing im not sure I'm buying....its either cutting samples without visuals like on the older ones, the lower midi resolution actually helps, or the samples used are loops from re...

If you like Live for its one screen with tabs interface, and intuitiveness you will like Tracktion imo......Tracktion is even more intuitive and has an ever faster learning curve......Tracktion has better signal routing imo.....because it is visual which for most people is logical and easier to inte...

I dont think there is anything inherently bad about lives timing.....as far as resolution...i think the unit is ppq? or whatever......i dont know the number for live or the mpc...would be good thing to find out.....supposedly logic has the highest of the popular daw.....998?....that is maybe the num...

the way i understand it,...and this far from gospel.....there are three issues 1) the mpc sound.....the sound people here and revere comes from the ad/da converters in the box that provide a certain sound to your samples that people instantly like....with no tweaking.....people originally thought it...

this is what i used to love about the dancehall and hip hop scenes when i was coming up.....no cds or mp3s....all the hit records u bought came on 45s and 12"......and they almost always came with the version(instrumental) and accapella......u didnt even need a sampler to remix a tune or record...
