Re: Ableton, Launchpad and Battery...
Does that not kind of defeat the purpose of it though? I'm sure there must be some way of doing it. Is it more an issue with battery rather than LP? I mean, the LP, does it not work just a like a keyboard with velocity sensitivity? So, really, to get them to map right, you just need to transpose the...

Ableton, Launchpad and Battery...
Just wondering. Obviously LP is pretty neat from making drum patterns. But does anyone have any idea how you can get N.I. Battery mapped properly to the LP? Some of the preset kits that come with Battery seem to map in a weird way - or at least it seems weird. Some of the kits use lots of cells - I ...

I bought a P4 last year - not a centrino. Though it is good with plenty of performance, the battery life is hellish. It means that if you gig, and inadvertently your power cable disconnects (like mine did) there is less chance of your set going down (like mine did). Besides Centrinos are also cooler...

Tuur, it sounds like you may have hit the nail on the head. It has progressively got worse over time. Initially it would only happen sporadically. Now I;m almost guaranteed that it won't work. My concern is this though. Would you say that this is a major fault? In the past year since I have had the ...

Ah, so it shouldn't a big problem to fix. Is it necessary to send back to base for repair??? Any idea what would be likely to have casued this dodgy connection? The reason I ask is that 6 months ago it had a serious problem in which the motherboard needed replaced. I'm just wondering if both of thes...

The machine always beeps once when it boots up , and this beep always occurs simultaneously with the flash of the POST screen. Could it be a virus issue, even though it doesn't get passed the POST screen?? Why should it sometimes work perfectly, completley glitch free, and others not at all??? Seems...

Related to temperature??? Why? It doesn't boot up even when it has been sitting switched of for hours. When it is pulled straight out from it's case. Strangely though, If I manage to get it to go, and decide to restart it to use the other boot partition, it doesn't fail to boot correctly, even after...

Laptop Problem - won't boot up.
Hi folks, can anyone point me in the right direction regarding my laptop issue??? I'll try summarise concisely below. Essentially, my laptop sporadically fails to boot up. It even fails to get beyond the POST screen. However, occasionally it does work as it should. On pressing the power button to in...

Just a small addition - RE: Tricky... Yeah, Maxinquaye is class, but the later stuff is pretty good too - though definitely not as accessible. Nearly God is downright bizarre in bits, but sometimes you need to give an album a bit more time, so you can adjust to it. That's what I find with Tricky any...
