Re: question about 'midi racks' ?
Imagine a midi-rack full of scale plugins. Each has a different transpose/scale setting. Play a hookline and morph thru the scales with a controller. Awesome.b0unce wrote:I missed the beta boat

Rack me Amadeus!
Hoho, those racks are incredible. Try this: Play some chords thru a midi rack full of arps. Use various arp settings for different (non overlapping) key zones. Leads to great complex arpeggios. Further add a random midi fx somewhere and a scale fx at the end to achieve some nice alternations. Love i...

Good idea. Since viewing Lamont's turntable set I know I want a foot controller. But I have no clue which /cheap/ one would work for a start. Any recommendations?

my lord, what on earth did you do wrong!? that shouldn't take above 10-15 percent on a decent computer. Every OSC had its own filter which caused a lot of cpu consumption (used the 2-Osc filters). For this kind of synth it's not too hot to feed everything thru one unit. The envs ate a lot to...

Setting names for recorded audio clips
Hi, I use "resampling" quite often to record a bunch of tweakish loops for later use. That's fine until it comes to "bookkeeping" of the recorded files. Though I can name the recorded audio clip in Live, the file on the harddisk keeps its cryptic name like "0002 13-Audio.wav...

however, using bassline 1.5 i've tried to automate some filter sweeps but it doesnt seem to be working properly. a simple sweep from 0 to 127 only moves the cutoff dial a fraction?? am i missing something. Did you use the clip envelopes? Remember that they are relative. Set cutoff to 100% and the e...
