Re: ReMote SL Automap 3 - how to program XY pad (for FM8)
I can't possibly imagine that's what they meant by programing the XY pad.

Re: novation sl 37 switches template automatically
Just skimmed your comments, but have you tried saving your Global settings when you're in your preferred template? For example, if you wanted your ableton template to be template 1, save it to the template 1 slot. Then, go to global settings, no need to actually change anything in your settings, and...

Sure, magazines and manufacturers both have incentives to sell product. With that in mind, you can be your own filter of information, I think. If anything, I feel like I'm the biased one in the review equation of Ableton's instruments. And it's entirely visual. Somehow the minimalist feel of ableton...

no, not a stupid question. just a lesser-known answer. I can only guess at the mac answer and although I'm not inclined to tell someone it can't be done, in this case, I'm leaning towards that answer. It needs to implement general midi, which is why I think the mac defaults to the DSL. If you look i...

Well, more people will come to your aid here, but I'll give you first impressions (I'm not in arrangement view much either.) One way, wait for abe 8 and grooves. other way see below: First off, appreciate that a on old steam train has a syncopated rhythm, so your transients are not your down-beats n...

kirstoffer1989, do you mind posting a link or hosting the download somewhere for instajungle universal/intel? I went to the website as well, and I don't see any link for a universal version. It's either windows or power pc. Not that I even know how you would be (I simply can't use ppc plugins), but ...

man that's cold
okay, go with this rack for now would be better advice than my previous suggestion. I just made an attempt to consolidate an arrangement loop (not running) while I was clearly running a Session window scene. Doesn't matter. It will stop your audio. Globally? Yeah, I think so.

I've was curious about this too, and got an overall consensus that AU's have just a slight edge over VST's. I've no real computer science lingo to support this claim, but I understand au's, due to their native to apple, are more robust/stable and use better architecture to take advantage of the oper...
