ok i fixed it, even tho logic wasn't open it was some how slaving ableton to its default time (??!!), so i just opened and quit logic again and it seems to be ok. seeya!

should add, running 5.2 on a mac, never had any problem like this before.
also - its just sped up on another restart. going a bit mad here.

ok now i restarted my machine and it seems to be going at about 100 bpm and pitched down. it still says 110.

weird speed up / slow down problem

ok, trying to work out what the fuck has happened here

opened up an old tune to try to finish it and somehow, even tho it says 110 bpm, which is the speed i made it at, its much faster and the whole thing is pitched up a bit. wtf is going on and how can i make it not go on?

You could assign the output on the ableton returns to their own output on the soundcard, then you should be able to do what you like.
