I currently have version 4 installed on my old machine...if I upgrade to live6 can I then use it on my new machine? Or will I have to ask for another license or something?

i assigned just about every system process apart from audio to my second processor and assigned ableton to the first...things are working much better now, no more hiccups during a gig...thanks again!

I am running the latest version of Live 4 on WinXP SP1 on a VAIO with dual Pentium 4 processors, each at 2.4 gHz. I notice that when I open the task manager and click "set affinity" for Live, my second CPU is unchecked. If I assign the second processor to Live, the CPU usage meter in Live ...

It would be nice to be able to select multiple clips and change their display color at once. Minor I know, but the 5 or 6 seconds that saves adds up over time

Sometimes when I put the width up to 200% audio cuts out completely in that channel.

not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but every once and a while Ableton will start not recognizing input from my computer keyboard at all...but if I go to the MIDI options page and disable/re-enable it, it works again.

I think it would be really handy to include a section in the file/plugin browser area that would show every effect and VSTi and would allow you to turn them on/off. This would be very useful for managing the CPU load. Thanks!
