Hello People,
I'm experiencing lag and gitter when recording midi data from one channel of Phaedra using the camera connection kit into Live 8. Has anyone else experienced such problems?
A solution or alternative (Ableton step sequencer with same functionality?) would be appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Tod durch Überfluss
A translation would be appreciated, I'm interested to hear what you have to say about developing a small set of strategies in a working practice.
On a side note, I caught your performance at the IMA hosted by Room40 in Brisbane a few months back, great stuff!

Tod durch Überfluss
Does anyone know if this has been translated to English and if so has it been published online anywhere?

Re: Manually Assignment - Midi Map Mode?
Thanks gary,
This is pretty much what I'm trying to do using the iac driver but how do you go about mapping a midi note from a clip? Could I for instance assign a note value c3 to launch another audio clip (again no controller being present).
Thanks for the advice.

Manually Assignment - Midi Map Mode?
Guys,
This could be a daft question but is there anyway to assign note on messages within midi mapping mode without a controller?
E.g if I wanted to assign c3 to launch a clip but I have no keyboard.
Key assignment is not an alternative to what I'm trying to do.
Cheers

Try switching remote on in the midi preferences for your soundcard.

Eno Quote
Hi people, I found this quote from Eno in Wired from back in '95 - What people are going to be selling more of in the future is not pieces of music, but systems by which people can customize listening experiences for themselves. Change some of the parameters and see what you get. So, in that sense, ...

So, I'm curious to hear some mixes/productions produced within an ableton only environment.

Basslane with racks?
Hi All,
I'm on osx so am unable to use the Basslane plug which looks pretty handy.
Any ideas on whether it would be possible to recreate this plug using the native ableton plugs?
And if so how would I go about creating this...it seems like a lowpass filter with a stereo widener.
Cheers

Clicks and pops on home samples...advice sought
Hello ppl, I am having some problems with clicks and pops on low sine wave bass sounds in Simpler and was hoping someone would have some advice on how to eliminate this. I've adjusted the loop/snap/fade points and set a slow attack and long release but am still plagued by the pop at the begining of ...
