Multiple audio tracks to one effect
Hi everyone, I have (what could be a simple) question to do with audio tracks. I have Audio Track A on Channel 1 and Audio Track B on Channel 2. On Channel one I have an Auto Filter. On Channel 2, I have a gate effect I want associate with Track B. I would like to send Channel 2 (Track B) to Channel...

MarkH's PM to me, I hope this helps others: ----- You have to tell RMX whether you want to use Multi Mode or Kit Mode. In Multi Mode you are working with loops and kit mode you are working with individual sounds. I don't think there is a way to have some loops, some single hits. It's either one or t...

Hi there, Just a follow up to your response to my post on RMX vs MIDI: Can I use this example? Just say that I have a RMX groove like this: RMX Ch 1: Kick RMX Ch2: A little groove RMX Ch3. Hihat I want to have complete control over when the kick actually 'kicks' and not just go by what the pre assig...

Thanks guys, this works a treat - in terms of exploring midi from RMX into Ableton. Now, this is probably a question based on my lack of knowledge with RMX, but here it goes: When I do as described and put that MIDI file onto a MIDI channel associated with RMX and play it, I don't get the groove tha...

Stylus RMX and MIDI
A question for any Stylus RMX users on Live 4 here: I currently have a half decent tune going using stylus RMX to provide most of the percussion. I don't, however, know how to automate various elements of the various beats in stylus. As far as I can get is mute various tracks during the tune. For ex...

Collaboration
Hi Guys, I had a post like this to see if anyone was interested, but I will give it one last go before I look elsewhere. I would like to know if anyone is interested in a collaboration for a new project. I am looking to do this as a way of advancing with live and production technique. I am pretty ne...

Outstanding issues
Hi Guys, I have had these posts going in the general forum, but no help has really come out of them. I think it was probably because they were not in the correct forum. If you get the chance, please look at each listing (link) and help me out. Cheers!!!! House vocal echo http://www.ableton.com/forum...

Hiss/clicks when using PC keyboard
Hi Guys, Whenever I hold down a note using the PC keyboard for all various synths, I always get a hiss/click after a period of time? Why is this and how can I get rid of it? If I draw the note in for the same length of time, it doesn't hiss/click. So it must be something to do with the keyboard or t...

Echo
Martyn, Thanks, your way sounds the most practical. I tried the delays last night, but I don't get what I want...I hear echoes and stuff, but I don't get the last part of the vocal, or the 'ton' used in this example. It certainly doesn't fade how I want it and I cannot defined how many times it echo...

House vocal echo
Hi Guys. I am interested in generating echo's for some of my vocals. If someone were to sing 'ableton' for example, I would like to echo a portion of this word for a pre-defined amount of times into the distance for example. ABLETON ...'TON' ... 'TON’ … ‘Ton … ton … ton … on … on … n … n How would I...
