Re: Any 10.1 beta testers using PXT Live? Compatible?
PXT Live does still work, even on 10.1, and I still use it as I did before. At the time of the Push trade in offer (when Push 2 was released), I actually declined the offer because of PXT not being compatible, iirc. I thought development was taken over by Isotonik, but I must have mixed up with Clyp...

Re: Any 10.1 beta testers using PXT Live? Compatible?
only just now made the switch to 10.1.1 and PXT_Live seems broken. it used to work in 10.0.5 (which I upgraded from). anyone? edit: sorted... user error, probably. I could see PXT in the app resources folder, but not in the midi preference tab when Live is active. installing on top of the previous i...

you sure there is no (accidentally recorded) automation in the master track for tempo?

Re: Session View v Arrangement View?
in session view you collect all your different pattern/loops/sounds vertically per track. with these you can jam around, try different combinations, build your track while jamming. now, if you hit the global record button on top, everything you do while performing this jam will be recorded into arra...

Re: Newbie Question- Piano roll
just realized my reply was missing a few steps in between. if you create sounds the way you are trying to at the moment (which is completely valid!), then there are several ways to make this into an instrument. what you are trying to achieve might indeed best be done like antic604 said. so, instead ...

Re: Newbie Question- Piano roll
you have to create a clip first. you can find the piano roll inside that clip. I'd also suggest doing this in Session view.

Re: Can't play/edit a file I created on Trial version
not export, record in realtime. route the track with Tension to another audio track and record the resulting audio on that track. you can do the same with the track Echo is on. if you just gotten into Live, it might seem daunting, but you can route about anything to other tracks. Open the in/out vie...

Re: automate groove parameters?
If you open the groove pool, you can map the global groove amount (bottom right), but that's it. However, to automate this in a clip, you'll need some M4L magic. I don't think Live does this natively in Session view. It does in Arrangement (look in the automation lane for the master track). I just t...

Re: Can't play/edit a file I created on Trial version
Either open that set and commit the offending tracks to audio, or buy the Suite version, I guess. You can probably freeze and flatten, and just be done with it. Unless Echo is on an aux track, then you'll need to record.

Re: Why would the same compressor pasted onto various tracks seem to work less strong proportionally depending on the tr
My apologies if this sounds harsh, but your post sounds like you don't fully grasp the working of compression, and granted, it is one of the most elusive concepts of audio engineering. Dialing in a compressor on one drum track and make it sound like you want, and then copying that compressor to ever...
