Yes i have experienced the same problem, even tho when i click in the save button , the marker would still go back .....

MacBook run perfect with Ableton 6 & 7 with no problem, but i had friend who faced the same problem with ableton 5 on his mac book, but i don't think so it has to do something with software at slef, its the sound card latnecy !

M-Audio.com almost every firewire Soundcard will do the Job, Otherwise if you need high Tech Sound card Try Fireface 400 ,it will never let you down ever !
