liking the mix so far very good just my style

when im doing a mix and want to launch a new track ready to mix with the other why is it you have to be dead on time to set it off at a bar eventhough i have the clip launch on bar
does it take time to master or wat?

im now thinking of buying a alesis amp that would sort out my problem

i just wanted to know if the sony amp was colouring the sound in any way. with it being a hi fi amp

i have a pair of passive alesis monitors one mk 2 powerd by a normal sony hifi amp
is it better to have active monitors or do you thinki would be wasting money by buying active monitors?

i have been producing now for about 3 years and although i enjoy it i get board and have no motavation.

i have just purchased a bcr 2000 cant wait till tomorrow

Its my birthday and have just got some cash im looking to get some hardware what do guys recommend i already have a midi controllor monitors and a small sprit mixer
if you were to buy some hardware what would it be?
a compressor,effects unit?

you have to decide for your self .Nobody can make ur mind up i had the same problem both are good pieces if kit . Cubase also has the audio strech fuction. imo ableton is a little cramped were as cubase you have a lot of diffrent menus there is good and bad about both dont just ditch ableton because...
